Mount Rinjani Climbing Package 2 Days 1 Night Sembalun Summit
A night climbing event held exclusively for expert climbers. These events are held in challenging mountainous areas and are only accessible to climbers with a high level of skill and experience. The Night Summit offers a unique and challenging climbing experience under the light of the stars and moon.
Participants can enjoy the beautiful scenery and serene atmosphere of nature at night, while exploring challenging hiking trails. In addition, Night Summit also offers the opportunity to interact with other expert hikers and share experiences.
Itinerary:
- Day 0 : When you arrive at Lombok, no matter if it’s at the airport or by boat, our staff will come and pick you up and transfer you to our hotel and office in Senaru. Once you arrive in Senaru, you will meet our staff to complete your registration and do a short briefing with your guide. You will learn about the trekking procedure and get prepared for the trip. Arriving at the latest 1h before sunset, you can go see the Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelap Waterfall. Note: you can arrive the same day as the trekking. But we recommend you to come the day before and spend the night so there will be no delays.
- Day 1 : Our guide will pick you up at hotel lobby at 06.30 AM then transfer and Register to Rinjani Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang Village (1,156 m). meet your guide and arrange National Park entry tickets, The trek starts with the gentle ascent walking through open grassland used as cattle grazing by local people. Resting at Pos 1 Pemantauan (1,300), after about three hours from Sembalun we reach Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500 m) enjoying the beautiful views of Mt. Rinjani summit (3,726 m). Another hours ascent to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1,800 m), we start the step three and half climb amidst the pine-like Casuarinas species locally known as Cemara, perhaps seeing evidence of wild pigs and the long-tailed grey macaque monkeys to the camp site at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m).
- Day 2 : 02.30 am Light Breakfast and starts the necessary for the hard three-hours climb to the summit (3,726 m). Once there, enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa. 06.30 am optional tour depart Summit for Sembalun Crater Rim Camp – walking time approx 1,5 hours. After breakfast, proceed to go down to the Sembalun Village. It takes four to five hours down preparing for your lunch at Base camp two, After lunch break, leave the base camp two to Sembalun Village, and you will finished at 16,00pm, where the car is waiting to take you back to your hotel and your next destination.
